Club Manila East Taytay

Finally, Dadijun's off from work! This trip was not planned, but as they say, this kind of trip is the most enjoyable.

We arrived just after lunchtime at Club Manila East Taytay (we ate our baon in the car because no food and drinks are allowed inside). For just 220 bucks per person we were able to enjoy the pool with giant slide, kayaking, and swimming in the beach wave pool! We did not rent a cabana since there were still gazeebos available for free. It even has an electrical outlet and we were able to use our portable dvd player.

I highly recommend this place! Just around 30 minutes from Ortigas Complex, 15 minutes from SM City Taytay. Soon, the lazy river will be available. We will definitely go back come summertime!

For dinner, we went up to Antipolo and dined at Leonardo's along the overlooking strip of Sumulong Highway. We rented a small bahay kubo for 50 bucks an hour, and ordered food from their resto. Our bill was just 700 bucks, not bad for a hearty meal of fried chicken, chopsuey, sinigang na hipon, and rice 5 people! We didn't order drinks because we had the softdrinks baon that we were not able to bring inside CME.
