Goodbye Boracay, Hello Dumaguit!

Maaga akong nagising. Gusto kong maligo sa dagat ng maaga kasi 12 pm ang check-out namin. Naligo uli kami nila Megan at Rap after breakfast. Nag-picture taking na rin kami.

Ang itim na ni Rap!!!

By 12 noon, we were on our way to Caticlan. We had a quick meal at Andok's (for the nth time!) and boarded the Ceres bus that will take us to Kalibo. We were headed for Dumaguit to stay with Megan's relatives. Dun na kami manggagaling before we ride the ship to Manila.

Meron sanang mga van from Caticlan to Dumaguit. Kaya lang 200 pesos per person ang fare. Ang Ceres bus to Kalibo was only 70 pesos. From Kalibo, we hired a tricycle for 150 pesos to take us to Brgy. Dumaguit, New Washington, Aklan.

We reached Manong Ariel and Manang Orfa's residence at 3pm. Nakakatuwa kasi naghanda pa talaga sila ng merienda for us. Manong Ariel Vista is a police officer assigned at Dumaguit port. His brother, Manong Lloyd is also a police office pero assigned siya sa bayan ng New Washington. They are cousins of Daddy Jun's brother-in-law, Dong (daddy ni Megan).

Dinala kami ni Manong Lloyd sa pier ng Dumaguit before sunset. Doon, nakabili kami ng tig-isang balde ng talaba at tahong for only 100 pesos. Yun ang dinner namin. Parang fiesta. Nagkatay sila ng manok for us. Yung talaba at tahong na binili namin ay na-steam and served with sukang maanghang. Naku, ganado ang lahat. Paano ba naman, dito sa Laguna ang mahal mahal ng talaba ano!

Enjoying the sunset at Dumaguit Pier
