The White Sandy Beaches of Sipalay City

Boracay is not the only island in the Philippines with white sandy beaches. In fact, I saw lots of these islands a couple of times while on the plane. I've been to Boracay and Panglao Island in Bohol. Lately, I discovered this little piece of heaven in Sipalay City, Negros Occidental.

Canonoy Beach Resort, Hinigaran, Negros Occidental

From Bacolod City, we went to La Castellana to visit more of my husband's Negrense relatives. We only stayed in our Ninang Judith's place for one night since we had plans the next night in a beach resort. We were brought to Canonoy Beach Resort in nearby Hinigaran town.

Beauty's 20K km Check

Today, we are 10 thousand pesos poorer. The family car finally underwent its first 20 thousand kilometer check up. Although it's really a pain in the pockets, I'm still glad to know that there was nothing major to fix.

Bacolod City is not only known as the "City of Smiles" but also as the place where the yummiest roasted chicken can be tasted.
