Take an Extreme Adventure or Just Chill at Laresio Lakeside Resort and Spa

The last weekend of February had us driving to UPLB to fetch Ralph who went on an overnight debate competition. Since February 25 was declared as an official holiday, we thought that it would be the best time to spend the night at a resort in Los Baños. It was a last minute decision so I failed to reserve us a room at the Makiling Onsen Spa. Thankfully, Laresio Lakeside Resort and Spa was just a few hundred meters and a phone call away.

It was actually my husband first discovered Laresio Lakeside Resort and Spa. He saw a viral post on Facebook about it and tagged me. I didn't realize that it was also located in Los Baños until our car drove past its signage along the highway. Luck was on our side when I booked because there were still a few rooms available. As the night passed, we saw guests coming and checking in the rooms beside ours.

We availed of the Small Group Overnight Package for 4 which cost us 1,500 each.

Call 742-ASIA for AirAsia

Starting February 25, AirAsia can now be reached through their new customer hotline, 742-ASIA (742-2742). Not only that, to make payment for booked tickets easier for its customers, the Philippines' low cost carrier with the youngest fleet also tapped 7-11 as a payment facility.

This is definitely good news for travelers who want to avail of AirAsia's online promos but would only be able to pay in cash. With 7-11 as a payment partner plus a new hotline number, buying tickets over at www.airasia.com would be a breeze.

“Filipinos will embrace this new concept of paying cash for airline tickets via our payment partners option because of its simplicity and convenience,” AirAsia Inc.'s Commercial head, Freddy Herrera says.

The payment partner service covers all Philippines’ AirAsia flights from its hub in Clark International Airport to Taipei, Singapore, Hong Kong and Kuala Lumpur including domestic flights to Davao and Kalibo (Boracay).

More than 800 7-Eleven stores nationwide will start accepting cash payments for AirAsia on February 28. AirAsia’s new Philippine hotline number, +632.742.2742, meanwhile, will start on February 25. It will be open daily, from Monday to Sunday, at 8:00AM – 9:00PM.

air asia offers one of the cheapest airfares! It's good that they now have one number that's easy to remember.
This is good news for frequent travelers. I'll tell hubby about this. Thanks for the info!
